Elk Creek Township is accepting applications for a part-time road crew employee.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Class B CDL or acquire such within 60 days (Class A Preferred), ability to pass a background check, random drug/alcohol testing, and mechanical experience. Evening or weekend hours may be required during inclement weather events. Applications are available at Elk Creek Township, 10405 High Street, Albion, Monday , Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00-3:00 PM or by appointment.
If you are adding on, building a porch, shed or other outbuilding, you will need a Building Permit Exemption.
A Storm water Application is also necessary anytime you cover the ground ( i.e. concrete, buildings, carports, etc.)
All Township roads have a 10 ton weight limit so vehicles over the limit must bond their route.
Political signs are allowed in our Township but a permit is necessary.
Outdoor parties or gatherings require an amusement permit (call office for specifications).
Constructing a driveway off of a Township road would need to be permitted.
